Rain Drops - Gotas de Lluvia

Sometimes, I feel lost. completely alone and I feel like the world just might be a little sadder than before. At these moments in life I tend to question my abilities, I tend to look inward and think- "This is hard.. like really, really hard. I am not sure I want to be doing this. Life would be so much easier if I wasnt going through this. So much Happier."  But then, I remember my savior. I remember how he knows exactly what I feel- he knows exactly how to make my broken sad heart feel not broken. Then, as I adjust my vision, and I look to him for strength instead of myself, My thoughts change, insteads why me's? I begin to think" Ok, maybe I can do this. Just take a deep breath- one step at a time, as I walk with my savior through this storm. I will lean on him when the rain falls, cause it will- I cant change that. But He- My Savior- He can lift me when I have nothing left. He can make me smile when no one else can." And then, I realize that the world was a little bit happier than before. And the sun starts to rise on my rainy day.  

A veces, Me siento perdidad. completemente sola y me siento que el mundo es un poco mas triste que antes. En estos momentos en mi vida me pregunto de mis abilidades, yo me veo a mi misma y pienso- " Esto es dificil, bien, bien dificil. No estoy segura que quiero hacer eso. La vida seria mas facil si no estoy teniendo estos problemsas, Mucho mas feliz." Pero, en este momento tambien, yo recuerdo mi Salvador. Yo recuerdo como El sabe exactamente que yo siento- El sabe exactamente como areglar mi corazon roto sentir mejor. Entonces, cuando empiezo a cambiar mi vision, y mirar a mi salvador por fuerza, mis pensamientos cambian- en vez de "por que tengo esto?" empiezo a pensar "si, talvez yo puedo hacerlo. Tomo un profundo respiro- un paso a tiempo, entonces camino con mi salvador entre este torbellino. Acostaria a El cuando la lluvia esta caiendo, porque va a caer- no puedo cambiarlo. Pero El- Mi salvador- El puede levantarme cundo no tengo mas. El Puede ayudarma sonrir cuando nadie mas hacerlo." Y despues, Me doy cuneta que el mundo es un poco mas Feliz que antes. Y el sol empieza amanacer en un dia triste.

Somos como Las Hojas- We are like Leaves

Ibamos a una caminata hoy. y encontramos hojas bonitas. Aun que todas hojas son de los arboles- ellas son de differentes arboles, y se ven las diferentes pero el mismo. Ponemos todo junto e hizo una pieza central de la hoja de nuestra mesa de la cocina. Ellas son bien bonitas y a mi me encanta mirandolas cuando estoy desayunando. ME gustan los tonos diferentes, los colores dramaticos- ME ENCANTA EL COLOR!! y me gusta que todos ellas son unicas pero, de una manera sigue siendo el mismo, ya que son todas las hojas. El igual que nosotros. Todos somos hijos de Dios y en esta manera todos somos iguales- todo precioso e importante y valioso. Pero somos diferentes. y es un gran bendicion que somos diferentes. Es lo que realmente hace que el bello mundo. Entonces- Hoy en vez de intentar cambiar a la gente a su alrededor, tratar de amarlos tal como son. Tratar de verla belleza que poseen. Tratar verlis como Dios hace- si lo hace con un corazon abierto, les prometo que verán mas belleza a traves de su gratitud, entonces nunca podría a traves de sus juicios.

Siempre recurden :

Leaves

We went on a walk today. And we found some beautiful leaves. And even though they all came from a tree- they all came from different trees, and they all look different- but the same. We put them all together and made a leaf center piece for our kitchen table. They are really beautiful and I love looking at them when I eat my cereal in the morning for breakfast. I love the different shades, the dramatic colors- I LOVE COLOR!! and I love that they are all unique but in a way still the same cause they are all leaves. Its just like us. We are all children of God and in that way we are all the same- all Precious and important and valuable in the Sight of God. But we are different. And it is such a blessing to be different. Its what truly makes the world beautiful. So today, instead of trying to change the people around you, try to love them just as they are. Try to see the real beauty that they posses. Try to see them as God does- and if you do this with a open heart, I promise you will see more beauty through your gratitude then you ever could through your judgements.

El Mejor Dia de Mi Vida - Best Day Ever

Hoy es MI CUMPLEANOS! y quiere saber una secreta? Hoy es el mejor día de mi vida. Quiere saber una secreta mas grande? Porque tengo mi Salvador en mi vida, cada dia es EL MEJOR DIA DE MI VIDA!  Una de las bendiciones mas grande que mi Padre Celestial me dio es la oportunidad de aprender. Y el mas que yo aprendo sobre mi Salvador, mas me doy cuanta que soy bien bendecida. El ano pasado en el mismo tiempo estaba egoista y precupada a cerca de mi mismo. Pero mi Salvador me enseno que felicidad, Gozo real no consiste en mirarse en el espejo o enforcarnos en nosotros mismos, sino en mirar fuera de nosotros mismos y servir a los demas. Estoy bien agradecida por mi familia- mi mama, mi popi, mi hermanita y mi cunado, Capri, El nuevo bebe en camino, Scott, Hermana Harper- todas estas personas increibles son bendiciones en mi vida. No habría logrado nada sin ellos. La cosa mas importante? Solo porque mi cumpleanos termina hoy no significa que mi bendicion final tambien.  Siempre Dios nos bendice en muchas maneras, solo tenemos que buscarlos. Nuestras bendiciones se encuentran en las personas que nos rodean. Entonces- Gracias!  Gracias por los deseos cumpleanos, por los momentos dulces en mi vida cuando ustedes me ayudan recordar que Dios me ama. Espero que pueda continuar la transmisión de esos dulces momentos para todos ustedes. Nunca olvides que Dios les ama TENGAN EL MEJOR DIA DE TODOS!!!

 

So thats right- Its My BiRtHday!  And you want to know a secret? Its the best day ever. Want to know a bigger secret?? Well, since I have my Savior in my life every day is THE BEST DAY EVER! One of the biggest blessings that my Heavenly Father has blessed me with is the opportunity to learn. And it seems the more I learn about my Savior, the more I realize how blessed I am! Last year at this same time, I was being selfish and I was worried about me. But my Savior has taught me that true happiness does not lie in looking in the mirror and focusing on ourselves, but in looking outside of ourselves and serving others. I am so Greatful for my family- My mom, my dad, my sis and Brother in law, Capri, the new baby on the way, Scott, Hermana Harper- all these amazing people are such blessings in my life. I would be no where with out them. This birthday is the best ever becuase I am so blessed. Coolest thing? Just cause my birthday ends after today doesnt meen my blessings go too- Always God blesses us in so many ways, we just have to look for them and usually, our blessings lie in the poeple who are around us. So thank you- thank you for the birthday wishes, for the sweet moments in life when you help me remember that GOd Loves me. I hope that I may continue passing on those sweet moments to all of you.  Never forget that God loves you- HAVE THE BEST DAY EVER!!!

El amor de los Dinosaurios - Dinasour Love

 A veces me doy cuenta  que a veces nos digamos "ROAR! En vez de "Te quiero" a las personas que tienen la mas significado en nuestras vidas. Es interesante que gritamos a las personas que las quieremos, y que digamos "Gracias"  a extranos.

"... Nuestro Padre Celestial ejemplifica el modelo que debemos seguir; Él nos ama, nos enseña, es paciente con nosotros y nos confía nuestro albedrío. El presidente Hinckley dijo: “El amor cambiará las cosas: el amor, el cariño que den a sus hijos generosamente en la infancia y también a lo largo de los difíciles años de la juventud… Y el aliento estimulante, que es rápido en felicitar y lento en criticar” (“Instruye al niño en su camino…”, Liahona, enero de 1994, pág. 67). A veces la disciplina (que significa enseñar) se confunde con la crítica. Los niños (así como las personas de todas las edades) mejoran su conducta con el amor y el aliento en vez de la crítica." - Hermana Susan W. Tanner

Entonces - Hoy, empiezen nuevo y  Digan "Te Quiero" a las personas que tienen la mas significado en su vida, Aun que solo son tres palabras,  estas palabras pueden cambiar el mundo.

Every now and again I realize that sometimes instead of telling people that we love- we love them- we ROAR at them. Isn't it crazy how we yell at those we love the most, and then say "please and Thank you" to complete strangers?

Children—as well as people of all ages—improve behavior from love and encouragement more than from fault-finding." - Sister Susan W. Tanner

 So today-Start fresh and  say I love you, to those who mean the most to you. Even though they are just 3 small little words, they can change lives.

Le Destryuen o le Definen - Define you or destroy you

 Cada dia tenemos experiencias. Algunos dias las experiencias son mas grande y otras son mas duro. Cada dia en las vidas de personas hay cosas que paso y muchas veces no quieren que estas cosas pasen. En estos momentos, cuando somos rompamos, tenemos tristeses, y estamos en desesperación- tenemos un decision. Podemos dejar que estas experiencias nos destruyen o nos definen. Es importante que este decision puede tomar tiempo. Podriamos dejar que la tristeza colarse en nuestro corazón y dejar que destruir todo lo que se- o podemos deja que la experiencia nos define y ayudar nos ser mejor Hijos de Dios. Podemos dejar que ese momento duro nos ayudará a acelerar el paso siguiente de los logros. AHORA- si intentamos para que nuestra experiencia nos define por nuestra cuenta, vamos a fracasar. Somos humanos y no estamos aqui para luchar solo. Dios nos ha bendicido con nuestro Salvador Jesucristo. Sólo él puede darnos exactamente lo que necesitamos para superar todo. Entonces-Si ha llegado a la final de la cuerda y tiene la oprtunidad de llagar a ser algo mas- algo mejor- RECUERDE- que es solo mediante JESUCRISTO que podemos ser construido y en forma para ser el pueblo de Dios necesita que seamos.

Every day we have experiences. Some days those experiences are bigger than others- or harder than others. Every day people have things happen that they wish would have never come to pass. In these moments, when we are broken and sad, and in utter despair- we have a choice. We can let these experiences destroy us or define us. The important thing to remember- is that this type of decision might take time. We could let that sadness sneak into our hearts and let it destroy everything we are- or we can let the experience define us and help mold us into better children of God. We can let that hard moment help us step up to the next step of achievement. NOW- if we try to let our experience define us on our own, we will fail. We are human and we are not meant to struggle alone. God has blessed us with our Savior Jesus Christ. HE alone, can give us exactly what we need to overcome everything.  So if you have hit that rock bottom, that point where you have the opportunity to become something more- REMEMBER- that it is only through CHRIST that we can be built and shaped to be the people God needs us to be.

HELADO - ICE CREAM

HELADO. ( vea aqui!) Puede creer que hay algo que es bien asombroso como helado? Solo una otrarazon que sabemos Dios nos ama. Helado es por todos personas.  Y bueno, si helado no es su cosa preferida- no se precupe- hay sorbete y yogurt congelado-  que son como helado practicamente. El Mejor cosa sobre helado es que viene muchas sabores. Fresa, arandano, chocolate, cereza, vainilla, galletas y crema- MAS que eso!!!! puede poner cosas delisciosas arriba del helado como caramelo y el látigo crema!! AHHHH!!! Bien deliciosa! Puede comerlo en un plato, taza, cono, en un palo, en un galleta, en un pastel, en un sandwich- WOW- hay muchas differentes maneras!! Helado es EL MEJOR! Entonces, como se conecta con El Evangelio de Jesucristo? Dios ha nos bendecido ser diferentes. Algunas de nosotros somos altos, bajos, redondos, flaco, pequeño, grande. Y algunas de nosotros tenemos pelo largo, pelo corto, pelo rojo, pelo marron, pecas, anteojos, dientes rectos, los dientes torcidos, orejas pequeno, orejas grandes. para ganarse la vida algunas personas contestar telefonos, predicar el evangelio, hacer los deportes, levantar allí los niños, enseñar ballet, volar a la luna, crear obras de arte, tomar fotografías. Las posibilidades y combinaciones son sin limite y todos eso porque tenemos un Padre Celestial que nos ama, y el nos bendice con individualidad. El parte mas asombroso- es que Dios nos conecen individualmente!!! ES EL MEJOR!!! El sabe su nombre, su alma, su corazon, sus circumstancias, sus gustos y disgustos. El LE CONOCE. y porque el le sabe, y le ama- el quiere saber de usted. Entonces- por una pansa feliz coman helado! y Por una alma feliz- hablen con Dios. Oren y deja que él le ayudará, porque el sabe exactamente lo que necesita, porque sabe exactamente quién es usted.

ICE CREAM.( click here!) can you believe that there is something so amazing on this earth as Ice cream? Just another reason we know that God loves us. Ice cream is for everyone. And hey,  ice cream might not be your favorite- don't worry- there's sherbet and frozen yogurt- which practically are ice cream anyway.THe coolest thing about ice cream is that it comes in countless flavors. Strawberry, blueberry, chocolate, cherry, vanilla, cookies and cream- PLuS! you get to put toppings on it like caramel and whip cream!! AHHH!! So yummy! You can eat it in a bowl, on a cone, on a stick,  in a cup, in a cookie, in a cake, in a sandwich- WOW- there are so many different ways!!! IT'S THE BEST EVER! So- how does ice cream connect with the Gospel of Jesus Christ? God has blessed us all to be different. Some of us are tall, short, round, skinny, little, big- Some people have long hair, short hair, red hair, brown hair, freckles, glasses, straight teeth, crooked teeth, big ears, little ears- and - The possibilites and combinations are limitless all because we have a loving heavenly father who has blessed us with individuality. The coolest part- He knows us all individually too! ITS THE BEST EVER!!!  He knows your name, your soul, your heart, your circumstances, your likes and dislikes. He KNOWS YOU. and because he knows you, and LOVES you- he wants to hear from you. So- for a happy tummy Eat some Ice cream. For a happy soul- Talk with God. Pray and let him help you, because he knows exactly what you need, because he knows exactly who you are.

YUMMY!!!  DELICIOSO!!!

A mi me encanta Comida!! Mis blogs siguiente van a ser sobre comida y como el evangelio y la alimentación están conectados- porque ellos son conectados!!

 Sandwiches de Mantequilla de cacahuete y MARMALADA!!! OK- entonces estoy una fanatica de sandwiches de mantequilla de cacahuete y marmalada. Pienso que en la vida hay cosas que Estan son las cosas que sólo encajar perfectamente- al igual que siempre quisimos estar juntos. Mantequilla de cacahuete y marmalada es la ejemplo perfecto. La crema de los nuezes de cacahuate, la suavidad de la dulce marmalada-ES EL MEJOR DE TODOS!! si solo puedo comer una cosa por todos los dias en mi vida- yo quiero comer sandwiches de mantequilla de cacahuete y marmalada. Ellos son asombroso! No son Caros- son deliciouso y puede hacerlos en su casa y traer a su trabajo. Ninos les gustan- Adultos les gustan- es el sandwish perfecto! Entonces, que es la significa de sandwiches de mantequilla de cacahuete y marmalada y El Evangelio de Jesucristo?  Pues- El perdón y el arrepentimiento son el mismo como los sandwiches.

 Entonces- como sandwiches de mantequilla de cacahuete y marmalada son un perfecto gratuito. El arrepentimiento y el perdon van a mano a mano. Como también nosotros perdonamos a los demás, podemos ayudarles sentir libertad. A medida que pedamos perdon de nuestro Padre Celestial y cuando nos damos perdon podemos ayudar nuetras almas participar en la llimpieza refrescante amor de Cristo.  Aun que estoy segura hay personas que no les gusta los sandwiches- pero Yo se que TODOS pueden participar de la grandeza de El arrepentimiento y el perdón. Por un pansa feliz coman sandwiches de mantequilla de cacahuete y marmalada. Por  un Alma feliz Particpen de El arrepentimiento y el perdón.

So I love myself some good food! My next couple blogs are going to be how food and the gospel are connected- cause they totally are!!

Peanut Butter and JELLY!!!! OK so I am a huge fan of the classic peanut butter and Jelly. I think that in life there are things that just fit- perfectly, like they were always MEANT to be together. Peanut butter and Jelly is the perfect example. The creamy nuttiness of the Peanut butter, the sweet smoothness of the Jelly- IT'S THe BEST EVeR!!  If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be P B and J's. There amazing. There not expensive- there delicious, and you can make one at home and take it to work with you. Little kids like them- grown ups like them- Its the perfect sandwich. So what does this have to do with the gospel? Well- Forgiveness and Repentance are the same as peanut butter and jelly.

"Repentance and forgiveness are complementary principles. Both invite the healing power of the Atonement to wash over us so that we can maintain peace and harmony...." - By Richard Miller

So just how Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches are a perfect complimentary- Forgiveness and repentance go hand in hand. As we forgive others, we can help others feel free. As we ask for forgiveness from our Heavenly father and As we forgive ourselves we can help our souls partake of the cleansing, refreshing Love of Christ. Even though I am sure there are some people out there who do not find the same love of P B and J's as I do - I know that ALL can partake of the greatness of Forgiveness and Repentance.  For a happy tummy eat yourself some yummy P B and J's. For a happy soul partake of Forgiveness and Repentance.
