Charity La Caridad

So to be honest, I have tried writing and re-writing this blog about 5 times!! Charity is sooo important and I want to get the feelings in my heart across on the page. But lets be honest here, I am not a professional. I use to think that Charity was taking used clothes to people who needed them. I have just barely started to understand what charity is. I know that Charity is everything- In Moroni 7:46 it says  "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth..." So Charity is everything, and it never fails. The scriptures also teach me that Charity is the pure Love of Christ, it beareth all things and it suffereth long and envieth not. So basically Charity is what we want to have- always. But how do we get it? Because life has taught me that having charity is hard, its a battle between putting your own comfort first or by sacrificing your selfishness to help someone else. I believe that we can gain more charity in our hearts as we do the little things. As we do small little actions to serve those around us- like Holding open a door for someone else, smiling to someone who looks sad, listening to others as they talk, accepting people for who they are, even taking your dog for a walk is an act of charity in my book- We will see more happiness in our lives. But the most important little thing you could do to have charity is pray. I had a friend who I was arguing with. He insisted we say a prayer- and instead of asking God to change me, or to make me see my errors- he prayed for me, and he prayed for my whole family. He taught me the power of prayer, because at the moment I realized the Love, the charity he had in his heart for those around him. His prayer changed my heart.  Pray for the people you want to have charity for and I testify that Miracles will happen.

Así que para ser honesto, he tratado de escribir y volver a escribir este blog-alrededor de 5 veces! La caridad es taaan importante y quiero llegar a los sentimientos de mi corazón a través de la página. Pero seamos honestos aquí, yo no soy un profesional. Yo solía pensar que estaba tomando la Caridad de ropa usada a las personas que los necesitaban. Acabo apenas comienza a entender lo que es la caridad. Yo sé que la caridad es todo-en  Moroni 7:46 "Por tanto, amados hermanos míos, si no tenéis caridad, no sois nada, porque la caridad nunca deja de ser..." Así que la caridad es todo, y nunca falla. Las Escrituras también me enseñan que la caridad es el amor puro de Cristo, todo lo sufre y lo soporta de largo y no tiene envidia. Así que, básicamente, la caridad es lo que queremos tener, siempre. Pero, ¿cómo lo conseguimos? Porque la vida me ha enseñado que tener caridad, es difícil, es una batalla entre poner primero su propia comodidad o por sacrificar su egoísmo para ayudar a alguien más. Creo que podemos ganar más caridad en nuestros corazones como lo hacemos nosotros las cosas pequeñas. A medida que hacemos pequeñas acciones pequeñas para servir a los que nos rodean, como la celebración de una puerta abierta para otra persona, sonriendo a alguien que se ve triste, escuchar a los demás cuando hablan, aceptar a las personas por lo que son, incluso teniendo a su perro a dar un paseo se un acto de caridad en mi libro- vamos a ver mas felicidad en nuestras vidas. Pero lo más importante que poco podía hacer para que la caridad es orar. Yo tenía un amigo que estaba discutiendo. Insistió en que una oración, y en vez de pedirle a Dios que me cambiara, o que me haga ver mis errores, él oró por mí, y oró por toda mi familia. Él me enseñó el poder de la oración, porque en ese momento me di cuenta del amor, la caridad que él tenía en su corazón por los que le rodean. Su oración cambió mi corazón. Ore por las personas que quieren tener caridad para y doy testimonio de que los milagros se suceden.

Hope - La Esperanza

HOPE. Its the anchor to our souls. On those days that are gloomy and sad- hope is what makes us take one more step to the light. I am so grateful for hope. As a human being on the earth Hope is a huge part of life! Hope is the sparkly magic in our souls that lifts our spirits and helps us achieve the unachievable. How do we obtain hope?

 " Wherefore, we search the prophets, and we have many revelations and the spirit of prophecy; and having all these witnesses we obtain a hope, and our faith becometh unshaken, insomuch that we truly can command in the name of Jesus and the very trees obey us, or the mountains, or the waves of the sea."  Jacob 4:6

Hope is something that I need. Hope that I can become a better person, hope that I can grow and become, Hope in my Savior that I truly can be cleansed of sin and return to Him again.  Hope is what motivates my life to live. Hope is what anchors our souls when the storms come- and as we read the words of the prophets in the scriptures we can obtain this hope. As we listen to the prophets voice today we will receive the guidance we need to help our hope expand to the outer corners of our lives.

La Esperanza  es el ancla para nuestra alma. En esos días que son sombrío y triste, la esperanza es lo que nos hace dar un paso más hacia la luz. Estoy muy agradecida por la esperanza. Como un ser humano en la tierra de la esperanza es una gran parte de la vida! La esperanza es la brillante magia en nuestras almas que levanta nuestro espíritu y nos ayuda a alcanzar lo inalcanzable. Como podemos alcanzar La esparanza? 

"Por tanto, escudriñamos los profetas, y tenemos muchas revelaciones y el espíritu de profecía; y teniendo todos estos testimonios, logramos una esperanza, y nuestra fe se vuelve inquebrantable, al grado de que verdaderamente podemos mandar en el nombre de Jesús, y los árboles mismos nos obedecen, o los montes, o las olas del mar." Jacob 4:6

La esperanza es algo que necesito. La esperanza de que puedo ser una mejor persona, con la esperanza de que pueda crecer y convertirse, la esperanza en mi Salvador que verdaderamente puedo ser limpiada del pecado y regresar a El. La esperanza es lo que motiva mi vida para vivir. La esperanza es lo anclas nuestras almas cuando lleguen las tormentas- y al leer las palabras de los profetas en las Escrituras podemos obtener esta esperanza. Al escuchar la voz profetas de hoy vamos a recibir la orientación necesaria para ayudar a ampliar nuestra esperanza a las esquinas externas de nuestras vidas.

Faith - La Fe

Faith is the magic that gets every thing started. When you have faith you live what you believe. Sister McCall and I have been studying faith and I have realized that a lot of the time we have more faith then we think we have.  But we could always use a little more faith also. Faith is believing is something you can't see but you know is true, you believe in it strongly enough that you act upon that faith. I have faith that Christ is my Savior- how I act on that faith? La fe es la magia que hace que las cosas en movimiento. Cuando tiene fe vive que cree. Hermana McCall y yo hemos estudiado La Fe y he realizado que muchas veces ternemos mas fe que pensamos que tenemos.  Pero podemos usar un poco mas fe tambien. Fe es creindo en algo que no podemos ver pero sabemos es la verdad,  usted cree en ella con suficiente fuerza que actuar sobre esa fe. Tengo fe en que Cristo es mi Salvador, cómo actuar en esa fe? Christlike Attributes: A thing of Action ( Los Atributos de Cristo: Una cosa de la Accion)

This next 5ish weeks I am going to be blogging about The Christlike Attributes, and how we can apply them into our lives. As I have gone day to day in the mission I have learned that if we have these Christlike Attributes life runs a lot smoother. I have also learned that life is action- if we don't apply what we have learned there's no point in learning. Me and my companion Sister McCall have been studying the Christlike attributes together.  So these next few week will be exciting as we try to find new ways to be more like our savior. We are going to kick it up a notch and get a little creative- so throw your hands up in the air as this ride starts going- we are going to have a blast!! This week is about Faith and Hope- So keep your eyes open for my next blog!!

Entonces, la proxima 5 semanas voy a blog a cerca de Los Atributos de Cristo, y como podemos aplicarlos en nuestras vidas. Dia tras Dia aprendi en mi mision que si tenemos los atributos de Cristo nuestras vidas son mas suave y feliz. He aprendido tambien que la vida es accion- si no aplicamos que aprendimos no hay un razon en aprendiendo. yo y mi companera, Sister McCall hemos estado estudiando los atributos de Cristo juntas. Entonces , estas proximas 5 semanas estaran muy interasante ya que intentamos a encontrar nuevas maneras para llegar a ser mas como nuestro Salvador. Vamos a patear a un nivel superior y ser un poco creativo - a fin de tirar las manos en el aire, ya que este viaje empieza a ir, vamos a divertirán! Esta semana es a cerca de La Fe y La Esperanza- Así que mantén sus ojos abiertos para mi próximo blog

Rain Drops - Gotas de Lluvia

Sometimes, I feel lost. completely alone and I feel like the world just might be a little sadder than before. At these moments in life I tend to question my abilities, I tend to look inward and think- "This is hard.. like really, really hard. I am not sure I want to be doing this. Life would be so much easier if I wasnt going through this. So much Happier."  But then, I remember my savior. I remember how he knows exactly what I feel- he knows exactly how to make my broken sad heart feel not broken. Then, as I adjust my vision, and I look to him for strength instead of myself, My thoughts change, insteads why me's? I begin to think" Ok, maybe I can do this. Just take a deep breath- one step at a time, as I walk with my savior through this storm. I will lean on him when the rain falls, cause it will- I cant change that. But He- My Savior- He can lift me when I have nothing left. He can make me smile when no one else can." And then, I realize that the world was a little bit happier than before. And the sun starts to rise on my rainy day.  

A veces, Me siento perdidad. completemente sola y me siento que el mundo es un poco mas triste que antes. En estos momentos en mi vida me pregunto de mis abilidades, yo me veo a mi misma y pienso- " Esto es dificil, bien, bien dificil. No estoy segura que quiero hacer eso. La vida seria mas facil si no estoy teniendo estos problemsas, Mucho mas feliz." Pero, en este momento tambien, yo recuerdo mi Salvador. Yo recuerdo como El sabe exactamente que yo siento- El sabe exactamente como areglar mi corazon roto sentir mejor. Entonces, cuando empiezo a cambiar mi vision, y mirar a mi salvador por fuerza, mis pensamientos cambian- en vez de "por que tengo esto?" empiezo a pensar "si, talvez yo puedo hacerlo. Tomo un profundo respiro- un paso a tiempo, entonces camino con mi salvador entre este torbellino. Acostaria a El cuando la lluvia esta caiendo, porque va a caer- no puedo cambiarlo. Pero El- Mi salvador- El puede levantarme cundo no tengo mas. El Puede ayudarma sonrir cuando nadie mas hacerlo." Y despues, Me doy cuneta que el mundo es un poco mas Feliz que antes. Y el sol empieza amanacer en un dia triste.

Somos como Las Hojas- We are like Leaves

Ibamos a una caminata hoy. y encontramos hojas bonitas. Aun que todas hojas son de los arboles- ellas son de differentes arboles, y se ven las diferentes pero el mismo. Ponemos todo junto e hizo una pieza central de la hoja de nuestra mesa de la cocina. Ellas son bien bonitas y a mi me encanta mirandolas cuando estoy desayunando. ME gustan los tonos diferentes, los colores dramaticos- ME ENCANTA EL COLOR!! y me gusta que todos ellas son unicas pero, de una manera sigue siendo el mismo, ya que son todas las hojas. El igual que nosotros. Todos somos hijos de Dios y en esta manera todos somos iguales- todo precioso e importante y valioso. Pero somos diferentes. y es un gran bendicion que somos diferentes. Es lo que realmente hace que el bello mundo. Entonces- Hoy en vez de intentar cambiar a la gente a su alrededor, tratar de amarlos tal como son. Tratar de verla belleza que poseen. Tratar verlis como Dios hace- si lo hace con un corazon abierto, les prometo que verán mas belleza a traves de su gratitud, entonces nunca podría a traves de sus juicios.

Siempre recurden :

Leaves

We went on a walk today. And we found some beautiful leaves. And even though they all came from a tree- they all came from different trees, and they all look different- but the same. We put them all together and made a leaf center piece for our kitchen table. They are really beautiful and I love looking at them when I eat my cereal in the morning for breakfast. I love the different shades, the dramatic colors- I LOVE COLOR!! and I love that they are all unique but in a way still the same cause they are all leaves. Its just like us. We are all children of God and in that way we are all the same- all Precious and important and valuable in the Sight of God. But we are different. And it is such a blessing to be different. Its what truly makes the world beautiful. So today, instead of trying to change the people around you, try to love them just as they are. Try to see the real beauty that they posses. Try to see them as God does- and if you do this with a open heart, I promise you will see more beauty through your gratitude then you ever could through your judgements.

El Mejor Dia de Mi Vida - Best Day Ever

Hoy es MI CUMPLEANOS! y quiere saber una secreta? Hoy es el mejor día de mi vida. Quiere saber una secreta mas grande? Porque tengo mi Salvador en mi vida, cada dia es EL MEJOR DIA DE MI VIDA!  Una de las bendiciones mas grande que mi Padre Celestial me dio es la oportunidad de aprender. Y el mas que yo aprendo sobre mi Salvador, mas me doy cuanta que soy bien bendecida. El ano pasado en el mismo tiempo estaba egoista y precupada a cerca de mi mismo. Pero mi Salvador me enseno que felicidad, Gozo real no consiste en mirarse en el espejo o enforcarnos en nosotros mismos, sino en mirar fuera de nosotros mismos y servir a los demas. Estoy bien agradecida por mi familia- mi mama, mi popi, mi hermanita y mi cunado, Capri, El nuevo bebe en camino, Scott, Hermana Harper- todas estas personas increibles son bendiciones en mi vida. No habría logrado nada sin ellos. La cosa mas importante? Solo porque mi cumpleanos termina hoy no significa que mi bendicion final tambien.  Siempre Dios nos bendice en muchas maneras, solo tenemos que buscarlos. Nuestras bendiciones se encuentran en las personas que nos rodean. Entonces- Gracias!  Gracias por los deseos cumpleanos, por los momentos dulces en mi vida cuando ustedes me ayudan recordar que Dios me ama. Espero que pueda continuar la transmisión de esos dulces momentos para todos ustedes. Nunca olvides que Dios les ama TENGAN EL MEJOR DIA DE TODOS!!!

 

So thats right- Its My BiRtHday!  And you want to know a secret? Its the best day ever. Want to know a bigger secret?? Well, since I have my Savior in my life every day is THE BEST DAY EVER! One of the biggest blessings that my Heavenly Father has blessed me with is the opportunity to learn. And it seems the more I learn about my Savior, the more I realize how blessed I am! Last year at this same time, I was being selfish and I was worried about me. But my Savior has taught me that true happiness does not lie in looking in the mirror and focusing on ourselves, but in looking outside of ourselves and serving others. I am so Greatful for my family- My mom, my dad, my sis and Brother in law, Capri, the new baby on the way, Scott, Hermana Harper- all these amazing people are such blessings in my life. I would be no where with out them. This birthday is the best ever becuase I am so blessed. Coolest thing? Just cause my birthday ends after today doesnt meen my blessings go too- Always God blesses us in so many ways, we just have to look for them and usually, our blessings lie in the poeple who are around us. So thank you- thank you for the birthday wishes, for the sweet moments in life when you help me remember that GOd Loves me. I hope that I may continue passing on those sweet moments to all of you.  Never forget that God loves you- HAVE THE BEST DAY EVER!!!
